Priss Quest

For Mint's Sailer Game Jam 2024, a game by Ribeastie and Superkiak.

Plot

You are a baby displacer beast, and you love toys.
Your pet parent also loves toys, but he's a fricking nerd.
He calls his toys 'model kits'. You think they look better horizontal, and not cluttering your shelf and table space.

You disagree on this matter.

Noble creature that you are, you generously allow them to be vertical whenever he's home, and he's about to be.

It's time to pick up your toys!

Controls

MOVE:

• Arrow keys and WASD.
  • Unbroken movement in one direction increases her speed. There is a maximum, however.

WALL CLIMB:

• To grab a wall, walk towards it and then press up or down to climb.
  • Priss will slide downwards if no key is pressed.

JUMP:

• When on the ground: up arrow, spacebar, or w.
• When wall climbing: the directional key opposite of the way Priss is currently facing.
  • If you quickly chain wall jumps together, you will move faster than if you were wall climbing!

TELEPORT:

• Hold a shift key, and Priss's teleport radius will appear.
  • Time will slow down while shift is held. Left click inside the radius to try and teleport there.
  • Priss can teleport every five seconds. She cannot teleport when being knocked back by an enemy.
